Mrs. Melinda Krause

My name is Melinda Krause and I am a Kindergarten grade teacher here at LES. I have been teaching for 11 years with 4 of those years here at LES. I was inspired to become a teacher through tutoring students in college. I love helping students make connections and gain confidence in their learning. I graduated from UCF (Go Knights!) in 2011 with my Bachelors in Education and knew I wanted to come back to the community I grew up in to teach. I love spending time with my family, drawing, poetry, and reading. I have two kids, Everett (7) and Olivia (4) and I've been married to my amazing husband for 9 years. I am very proud to be here at LES working with an amazing 2nd grade team and wonderful staff.
